Delta Zeta strives to encourage the academic excellence of each member. Members are required to keep a minimum 2.7 GPA and recognized and rewarded for academic success. In efforts to achieve and keep the academic standards of Delta Zeta, sisters find support and encouragement from one another.

Our sisters act as motivation and support for the achievements of their fellow members both in and out of the classroom.

So how do we do this? We help our sisters succeed with mentoring, weekly study hours, recognition of academic achievement and DZ scholarships! DZ Study Hours allow our sisters to get together and study, usually for similar classes or topics. Our study hours are every Wednesday at the campus library and are a required for all members. We also have a "study buddy" system. Every semester when we get our new members, we pair them up with an upperclassman in their major. This support helps guide our sisters to a better education and drives them towards academic success.

At each chapter meeting, we do an "academic spotlight" where girls can nominate sisters who they have seen excelling in classes. The nominee gets their picture taken with an "All Dz's are smart" star and gets featured on our Facebook page!
